Green Monster Offshore (GMO) is a specialist provider of offshore equipment rentals and engineered solutions, with products ranging from hydraulic winches and padeye testers to Zone 1/Zone 2 electric HPUs. Headquartered in Australia and serving clients across the offshore energy, marine construction, and resources sectors, GMO is recognized for its technical expertise, engineering quality, and adherence to international compliance standards such as ATEX/IECEx and DNV 2.7-1.
 
Addressable market 
The offshore equipment rental market is large and dynamic, encompassing oil and gas operators, offshore wind developers, subsea contractors, and near-shore civil engineering firms. Globally, the total addressable market is measured in billions of dollars annually. For GMO, the serviceable addressable market is concentrated in the Asia-Pacific region, where demand for certified winches, HPUs, and lifting equipment is growing as projects scale in complexity. By creating a digital presence that captures high-intent inbound leads, GMO positioned itself to capture a larger share of this opportunity, particularly in Australia, Southeast Asia, and parts of the Middle East.
 

The Challenge 

Green Monster Offshore’s old website no longer matched its growing reputation. Technical buyers couldn’t easily find equipment specs or request quotes, search visibility for core products was weak, and enquiries often stalled without structured RFQ workflows. The lack of digital credibility risked lost opportunities in competitive offshore markets.

The Solution

The consultant, working with a vendor, led a digital revamp that transformed the site into a growth platform. The new site streamlined navigation, showcased compliance-backed product details, and introduced structured RFQs with automated routing. SEO enhancements improved discoverability for high-value categories, while performance upgrades ensured fast, reliable access worldwide.

The Impact

The new website doubled qualified RFQs, boosted organic visibility by over a third, and gave Green Monster Offshore a credible digital presence that drives measurable growth across energy and marine markets.
